Proxmox Backup Server – with a twist!

I need to create a backup solution that works for me! my idea is that I have a separate server (physical) here are my Ideas:

• Dedicated hardware for backups
• uses my SAS drives (600GB x 24 of them)
• can be scheduled to power on and off
• use proxmox backup server for VMs / Containers
• allow my all my other devices, phones, laptops and PC to backup to it
• maybe have an middle virtual machine as a stop point till the backup server boots up.

Software I want to use:

• PBS
• Syncthing
• Immich (not used yet)
